A week at the cabin...
My Great Aunt Brenda (and yes, she really is that great) came to upstate New York this past week and rented a cabin on the river for all of us to vacation in! It was wonderful to get to spend time chillaxing with the family during these last few days of summer.
My brothers entertained themselves by watching the ceiling fans (just like I used to do!).
And I spent most of my time outside, throwing rocks into the river and building up my sand-castle skills.

One day, Mommy took us on a day trip to the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake. It was a beautiful drive and some of the leaves were starting to change in the mountains.
Aunt Brenda, Papa, and Grammie came, too. Look, Aunt Brenda! An Adirondack chair that's just my size!

I got so scared when I came around the corner and saw this display with Smokey the Bear that I fell on the ground and crawled back to Mommy!
My brothers had a good time, too, but apparently didn't want to leave, because they cried the entire way home. Then I cried, too, because I was tired of listening to my fussy brothers. Here's some math: 2 crying babies + 1 crying toddler = 1 crying mommy.
On one of our last days at the cabin, the weather was warm enough to put on our swimsuits and go swimming!!

What a great week! How fun! Thanks for everything, Aunt Brenda!
