Happy Thanksgiving!!

Thanksgiving break was a wonderful time to connect with friends and family members.

Stop #1: Amherst, Massachusetts.
We headed out Wednesday morning to meet up with "Uncle Scott" in Amherst. After a fancy meal at McDonalds, we headed to the mall to loiter around.
I discovered this amazing little hotdog stand in the mall. I think I've found my calling.
Me giving my sales pitch to some potential customers:
One hot dog with extra relish coming right up!
Stop #2: Lowell, MA
After our visit with Scott, we headed on to Lowell, MA to visit some friends from Ghana: Patience, Selase, and their daughter Eyiakimeh. I just knew that Eyiakimeh and I were ghana become great friends!! HAHA!! Here she is showing me how to get a square peg to fit into a round hole:
Now it's my turn!
We went for a little walk along the Merrimack River. See the falls in the background?During the walk, we encountered a number of pigeons. Bert sure does love pigeons! What a blessed time we had with such good friends!
Stop #3: Manchester, NH
On Thursday, we headed up to NH to visit with my Uncle Mike. This was my first out-of-the-womb visit to New Hampshire. Uncle Mike sure cooks up a mean turkey dinner! YUM!!It was also the first time I got to meet Buddy, Uncle Mike's dog! We became good pals after I snuck him some turkey and mashed potatoes under the table.
Sit, Buddy!
Good puppy!!
Grammie and Grandpa came up to NH, too. Grandpa and I had some good bonding time playing together.
Um...this is a lot harder when Grandpa isn't helping me!
Time to read a book!
When it was time to go, we packed up our stuff and headed back to NY. Thanks for spending Thanksgiving with us, Mike!Stop #4: Back home in NY.
The friends, fun, and feasting didn't end there. On Friday night, "Uncle Scott" came over from Massachusetts to our house in NY. While he was in town, we took him to my favorite restaurant, Chipotle. Believe it or not, I can down an entire soft taco there, complete with spicy chicken, black beans, rice, sour cream, and cheese! The restaurant management is quite impressed and is trying to figure out some way to use me in their marketing. How thankful I am for my amazing family, wonderful friends, and tasty food! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
