It was great to meet Barb and spend time at Wesleyan. I guess it's never too early to start those college visits!

My First Business Trip!
This week, Mom went to Wesleyan University with one of her students (Chelsie) to visit with Professor Barb Juhasz to talk about their research projects, and I got invited to go, too!! So, I packed my power suit, laser-pointer pen, and laptop and headed down to Connecticut. It was a very productive visit, and a lot of fun, too! Here's me with Barb (left) and Chelsie (right):

I hadn't been down to Wesleyan since last April when I was actually still inside my Mommy. The campus is MUCH prettier (and brighter!) from this side of the womb.
OK, time for the meeting to start! I call this seat!
On Friday afternoon, we went to the science library and saw all of the undergraduate research posters from the Wesleyan summer research programs. Here's me engaged in a theoretical discussion with one of Barb's students about the work she has done on hyphenating "three-word expressions" by studing the "eye-movement record" of "normal-skilled readers" using "eye-tracking methodology."
During our visit, we ate at a high-class diner and Barb won this adorable stuffed snake from the claw vending machine and gave it to me. Just one question...on what line of our expense report do we put the $1.50 we spent on attempts?
One of my favorite parts of the trip was staying at the Juhasz Inn, a quaint Bed and Breakfast located in Easthampton (ok, ok...it was Barb's house). Barb's dog, Sid, and I had a wonderful time together and actually have a great deal in common. We are both super-adorable, like eating food off the floor, lick everything in sight, and LOVE to crawl around and chase one another.
